As a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Tax Adviser, I provide comprehensive financial advice of the highest quality to my clients. My overriding objective is that my clients know their wealth is a source of comfort particularly at the pivotal moments in their lives.
Prior to this rewarding role, Richard worked as a Chartered Accountant within the financial services sector for 20 years both in the City of London and Surrey. For the last 25 years, Richard and his family have lived in Reigate, Surrey. Outside work Richard keeps fit walking the family’s Rhodesian Ridgeback and enjoys being busy in the kitchen or garden.
Richard’s Professional Accreditations
Richard is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), who originated in the City of London. Chartered Wealth Manager* is a designation awarded by the CISI to recognise senior members in the retail sector at the pinnacle of their profession. In order to achieve the institute’s premier accreditation, Richard completed the CISI masters in Wealth Management.
Richard is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), and entitled to use their Chartered Tax Adviser accreditation. This is the institute’s highest professional accreditation. Richard specialised in personal taxation including inheritance tax, trusts and estates.
Richard is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is entitled to use their Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) accreditation. This is the society’s highest professional accreditation. STEP is a professional association for those advising families across generations.
Richard has been a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1990. In addition Richard has been a fellow of the association of Corporate Treasurers since 1995.
*The Chartered Wealth Manager qualification is recognised by Ofqual as a level 7 and is regulated as a level 7 qualification on the Qualifications Credit (QCF)Framework.
